Join us for Operation Winter Relief, a winter coat drive dedicated to supporting homeless and at-risk veterans in need.

Winter can be especially challenging for our veterans, as they often face the difficult decision of choosing between paying essential bills or buying appropriate winter clothing. This barrier to stability is something we aim to conquer through this initiative.

From October 20th to November 20th, we will have donation boxes available at the Shelby Police Department and at The Marketplace in Kings Mountain. We kindly request that all donated items be new or dry-cleaned to ensure the health and well-being of our veterans. Unfortunately, items that do not meet this criteria cannot be accepted.

• First Baptist Church, Shelby, NC – 120 N Lafayette St | 10 AM – 12 PM

• Trailhead Resources – 318 Gidney St | 12 PM – 2 PM

December 6 – Kings Mountain

• The Marketplace – 405 S Battleground Ave | 11 AM – 9 PM

As you clean out your summer clothes and prepare for winter, please consider our veterans and donate any gently used or new coats. Your contribution will go a long way in providing warmth and comfort to those who have served our nation.

From August 1st to September 20th, we will have donation boxes available at various locations (details to be added). We kindly request that all donated items be new or dry-cleaned to ensure the health and well-being of our veterans. Unfortunately, items that do not meet this criteria cannot be accepted.

Coat distribution will take place at the Cumberland County VA Medical Clinic located at 5070 Ritter Rd, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. The nearest bus stop is Ritter Rd @ #5050 (Stop 3). Please stay tuned for the concrete date.
